Stogwen's life began in the Clan of the Burrows, a then-fire clan who had welcomed the wind traveller from distant shores. To this day, he does not remember his origins before he arrived in the Ashfall Waste, which many consider odd as he was already fully grown when he arrived at the Burrows. When asked, Stogwen was simply shrug. It doesn't matter to him, and so it isn't the concern of anyone else. Although he loved the Flameforger's domain, as it suited him well as a blacksmith, being a dark-feathered Coatl in his more colourful brethren's homeland made him not just a misfit, but an easy target for bigger dragons, with his species' traditions writing him off as bad luck. Thus he began his wandering – and it has so far been a long life full of adventure. He has lived in the Starfall Isles, the Southern Icefield and even the Scarred Wasteland for a time. With found family and a truly frightening amount of children by his side, the many shades of his life has brought more colour to his world than his homeland ever did.

Now he has arrived in the home of his oldest surviving child, Audacity, something he claims was totally unintentional. His famous bloodline is perhaps the crowning irony of Stogwen's existence; the drake has the memory of a sieve, and he has no idea of the legacy his children have created for him.

To date the old Coatl has over four-thousand descendants, as recorded by his children.

Stogwen's favourite things are his mate Carolina, card games, and a large cup of peppermint tea. He also loves his job as a Blacksmith, and can be often found in his little forge down by the shoals.
