A soft breeze rustled through the treetops, a low song with a familiar melody. Luwak raised their head, letting the wind play with their whiskers. Earthy smells caressed their nose, the sounds of the forest calling them home. Quickly, they glanced around to make sure they were unobserved, before dropping the physical form of a dragon hatchling. For a little while, they became one with the energies around them, like they had been for most of their life.
Personality

Almost like a real hatchling, Luwak does not know much of the world itself. Since they grew up far from other dragons, their mind is more connected to nature and its energies than to society and its rules. However, Luwak is curious and loves to learn. Oftentimes, one will find them together with one of the other dragons, listening to their stories, asking them questions. Luwak’s heart is big and they will not hesitate to lend a helping hand where needed. They help with gathering food, calm storms, or even soothe nightmares. Sometimes, they are not visible as a dragon, but roam the territory in their invisible fey form, using magic to ease the burden on their friends. There is only one thing Luwak loves more than the whispering of winds and scents of nature: The smell of bitter, black coffee. No one knows where this passion comes from, especially because Luwak despises the taste, but it has become a habit for the older dragons to let set some roasted beans aside for the fey whenever preparing a drink. |
Background
|
Despite looking like a dragon, Luwak has little in common with the other members of the Rose Spar. They are a spirit, born into existence from one of the many magical ley lines that run beneath the soil of Sornieth. Luwak does not remember for how long they roamed the world before coming across the Rose Spar, most of this time is nothing more than a blur in their memory. But something about this hiding clan awoke the curiosity of the fey. They began to observe them, and their struggles awoke the wish to aid them in Luwak’s heart. Thus, one day, they assumed the form of an Imperial, a breed they connect to might and power, but also protection. Some dragons assume that Caspian is the reason for these associations. At first, the dragons of the Rose Spar deemed Luwak a lost child, but they soon realized that there was more to them than that. Luwak held a wisdom and knowledge that no hatchling had, and eventually, the Rose Spar learned that with this tiny child, they have made a powerful ally. |
