Biography
There was a small rustle in a bush behind Leeward, he warily turned towards it, his senses heightened, he wasn't going to be caught off guard this time, or so he hoped. Light footsteps dashed behind him and he quickly whipped his head around; there was nothing there but the vast shoots of bamboo of the Reedcleft Ascent. He noticed a small pebble slowly rolled on the ground towards him, then came to a stop. He was about to approach it and the direction it came from when he heard a branch snap to his side and a figure quickly jumped and tackled him to the ground.
"Hah! Got ya!"
Above Leeward was an unusually small, blue, and very much feathery skydancer, Ailron. The skydancer quickly stepped off of Leeward, smirking at him.
"Oh come on it was only because I was distracted-"
"Yeah, Lee, that was the point. Admit it, I am better at sneak attacks."
"I'll prove otherwise."
"Yeah you will," Ailron said, dashing towards the Zephyr Steppes, "come on, let's see the sunset together."
"...that sounds weirdly romantic," Leeward replied, raising an eyebrow, but Ailron was too far away to hear it, "oh well."
Leeward quickly raced towards the Zephyr Steppes, trying to catch up to Ailron. As he dodged and swerved around bamboo shoots Leeward caught a glimpse of something some distance to his right; a figure, seemingly running towards the Zephyr Steppes with him, and turned its head towards him. He couldn't make out what it was, only that it was relatively small, he guessed around Ailron's size, and running on 4 legs. After a couple seconds, he realized he was heading head-first towards a shoot of bamboo and abruptly stopped, nearly crashing into it. He looked to his right again but the figure was no where to be found. Was it Ailron? But wasn't the skydancer more to his left, and more importantly, in front of him? Leeward decided to pretend like he was oblivious, because if it was Ailron, then he wouldn't be more careful despite Leeward having his guard up, and if it wasn't, then Leeward could only hope it wasn't something he's have to be concerned about.
Eventually, the spiral made it to the Zephyr Steppes, and there was Ailron, sitting on the edge of the Windswept Plateau, staring out towards the Sea of a Thousand Currents, seemingly unaware of Leeward's arrival. The sun was already starting to set, the sky an orange hue; it was beautiful.
"Hey Ailron-"
"AH! Leeward! You scared me damn it."
"This was not how I expected my sneak attacks to finally work... So uh.. the sunset, it's pretty.."
"Yeah, it is. I used to watch this nearly everyday with my mom, it was nice."
"Also, weren't running beside me before? How'd you get here so fast?"
"First of all, I think I can outrun you, and second, I wasn't running beside you, I was in front of you, because I'm so speedy."
"Then.. what was..?"
"What was what..?"
"I saw something running besides me towards the Zephyr steppes as well. It.. kinda looked like you, small, running on four legs.. it also looked at me. I almost crashed so I ended up looking away and then it was gone."
"Well whatever it was is not me, and also I am not small."
"Oh.. okay then.."
"You seem worried. Look, it's probably nothing to worry about, just some dragon probably. Now let's watch the sunset."
