Dragon Log

A curious dragon from Savnock's clan, he joined the lair on a whim, and liked what he saw. Almost as soon as he settled into the caves, a Blackwing Croaker wandered over to greet the new arrival... and stayed. It looks like the start of a beautiful friendship...

1-10-15: His time in the Clan is progressing--and with it his acceptance. Soon he may think about choosing a mate... but in the meantime, his friend, the Blackwing Croaker, has Awakened! This dragon is currently enjoying himself watching the Croaker take his first few flights... though the other dragons don't seem to like the wild dives the familiar is performing. I wonder why?

2-9-15: The croaker has gone off flying for a time, and a Nephrite Chameleon has taken his place. Or has it? This familiar keeps vanishing....

5-10-15: Vanishing or not, the Nephrite Chameleon seems to have decided to Awaken at last--a day late. But hey, with a familiar that is hardly ever at "home," his dragon friend should probably feel lucky he Awoke at all...

11-15-17: It has been a long time since this Wildclaw has been attracted to a familiar, or indeed to anything other than his own battle moves, so it came as quite a surprise to the Clan when he was seen not only in the company of, but actually riding an Iron Golem. The Wildclaw, however, seems to have no qualms about what he is doing. After all, every proper hero needs a proper mount. It remains to be seen whether his "faithful Charger" agrees with him--or will one day buck him off into the sharp rocks without warning....

2-23-18: The Iron Golem has Awakened! The Clan as a whole is not sure whether to be pleased about this or not, as "Thunder" appears to like clattering up and down the caves...at all hours of the night. The Wildclaw, however, is thrilled at his friend's maturity, and already planning tons of heroic adventures involving gallantly riding his faithful steed wherever he is needed. Oh dear...

1-30-19: To the shock of the entire Clan, DonQuixote has won the "Fire, Tooth, Claw" game to determine who should join the Ice Hockey team at the Sornieth Winter Games. He has joined the rest of the team in great anticipation of a glorious victory, despite the odd makeup of his team members. Unfortunately, things aren’t going so well, since the “hockey players” chosen to join him are not exactly interested in winning, and to add insult to injury—literally--Qui has been having a bit of fun with a gift from Beeblebrox, as well, much to the horror of the team captain...And now, thanks to DonQuixote believing that he needed to fight the “Beastclan Traitors” a tent full of gentle familiars had collapsed, and an extremely irate Tundra vendor is waiting for an explanation as to why the crazy-eyed Widlclaw ran at his “merchandise” waving a sword… ( )

2-8-19: After some fast talking by Lughnasadh, the team did, in fact, make it to the field of "battle," but alas, victory was not to be. Another team walked away with the award and the spoils. Qui is certain that things would have been different if he had been allowed to keep his sword, and ride his faithful steed into the fray, but for some reason Loo had had an absolute fit at the very idea of such a thing. So, naturally, they lost. A knight is nothing without his horse and his sword, after all...
