Pestilential grew alone in the Mirelands, learning to survive solely by herself as there was no one to guide her. Her natural red colours stuck up like a sore thumb in the lush greenery, so living there was far from easy. But one thing that was on her side was her size; she was small enough to easily hide in small holes in the trees or in berry bushes.

And one can learn a lot by just observing other creatures. Pestilential learnt the weaknesses and strengths of the creatures that called Mire home. She also became very familiar with the area, and according to the veilspun she knows the Mire like the back of her claws.

She started to help those who got lost in her home, helping them find a way out, helping them to survive and teaching them anything they wanted to know. It was this knowledge that led the Guild to ask Pestilential if she wanted to join. The veilspun agreed to join if she can stay at the Mire.

Pestilential was allowed to join, her job would be to maintain their outpost at her home and of course help the Guild with Mire-related business.
