"I give the living the closure they need" While slightly jaded and crass, Ka can be a fun loving and wild friend at any party. She often needs a little encouraging to get out of her shell, but once she's out it's as if she is a whole new dragon. Ka lives her life to the fullest, and, while her personality leads some to dislike her, she loves trying to make friends with everyone. Ka is not a necromancer by choice but she did find she has a knack for the (rather frowned upon) trade. When she was younger and didn't have a lot of friends, she would use her power to invoke 'shadow friends' who she would play and talk with. Her parents, fearful of her power, decided that Ka needed to be "cured" of the spirits who dwelled within her and thus, sent her away to the Mica Ministry to learn "real magic" and be healed. She instead proved that there was never anything wrong with her in the first place as she perfected her summoning spells alongside other perfectly normal and encouraged magic. Being away from her family might have been the best thing that could have happened to her, as Ka soon found a close circle of friends who she loved and who supported her. She stopped relying as much on her shadow summonings to entertain her and moved towards using her magic to help out her new friends. She was truly happy for the first time. So, when she summoned a shadow spirit whose first words were begging Ka to find her brother she was more than a little surprised. Still who was she to say no? And so Kallah left the arcane isles for the first time in close to a decade to find the answer to a mystery that was unfolding before her. |
