The Tinkering Smith Coming along nicely! An uneventful—though fun!—Brightshine has helped Imminnyll recharge and renew. She has many ideas for new projects. * Imminnyll is fascinated by the sandsurge and intends to make a pilgrimage to visit them and ask after their techniques for tunnel reinforcement and underground forging and refining.

Imminnyll is the foremost craftsdrake of Cindercone Clan, her enthusiasm and skill easily carrying her past dragons who were her senior. She is a force of nature, and come what troubles the clan may weather, she can haul anyone away on a tide of friendly enthusiasm. Despite her ridgeback-like habit of borrowing objects as needed for her projects, she remains loved by almost everyone in the clan. Rarely siding with anyone in clan disputes, winners and losers alike benefit from her enthusiastic neutrality, and she will lend happy distraction or a sympathetic ear to anyone who seeks her out. Unusually for a coatl, Imminnyll is fully capable of hearing common draconic and has no real accent when speaking. Her secret lies in the shell-shaped artificial eardrums of her own invention, which enhance the vibrations into intelligible if slightly tinny forms. She remains competent in Coatl as well, and will happily prattle away in either language or a mix of both to anyone who will listen—often her best friend Hrijikirrik, or Colada. Well-liked by all, Imminnyll is closest with her fellow craftsdrakes and the banescale pack. She and Harvestmoon have a friendly rivalry, and she treats Azaeleus as almost a little brother. Of all the clan, she really only doesn't get along with Arietty, with whom she has a sort of mutual distrust. She isn't quite certain how to react to Haskaharr anymore, however, and misses how he once was. Craft Imminnyll's crafts span from restoring a tundra sledge to monumental metalwork to finetuned gears for repairing Derecho Canyon. Most of her crafts, however, are small, useful but beautiful items made of her beloved mediums of metal and leather. She has a keen eye for detail and even her simplest items have an understated elegance to them. The majority of her crafts are for the clan, but those that she sends to the merchants sell quickly. Physical description Imminnyll is a large, muscular coatl with an expansive wingspan. For a Water dragon she is an unimpressive swimmer, though she enjoys diving in the heated waters off Cindercone's southern coast. She is good at soaring, but her takeoffs are effortful and messy, best accomplished from the water. Overland, she has a monitor-like stride and a smooth, even toboggan. She smells of volcanic steam, often overlaid with hot metal or warm leather. Combat Imminnyl is a physical brawler, utilizing powerful, stunning tail-blows and forelimb blows utilizing the sharp leather-cutters on her gloves for weapons. She usually fights in a team with Moonglow and Azaeleus, though it takes much to coax her away from her workstation.

Origin Imminnyll came to Cindercone Clan during their earliest days as a hatchling from Driftwood Shore, along with Kellinlii and Spearmint. She has yet to return to her hatching-clan, and for unknown reasons seems deeply convinced that her mother despises her. In hatchlinghood, Imminnyll found herself approached by an Embear, who proceeded to act as mentor to her. No one has seen her since the confrontation with Cataclysm, and it is likely she remains in Fire. She learned much at a young age, and quickly began to realize her promise as a craftsdragon. During the crossing, Imminnyll was struck by lightning and paralyzed. She was found Tezyn, and taught to use Lightning energy to bridge the damaged nerves. She remained separated from the clan for several seasons before finally being found by Ithiliisahn, presumably after contact by Stormcatcher, Cataclysm, or Tezyn, and lead home to Derecho Canyon. There, after a joyful reunion with the rest of the clan, she quickly set up another workshop and resumed her crafting.

Kin Imminnyll is the daughter of Simanmmin and Nainnum of Driftwood Shore. Simanmmin shares Imminnyll's cheerful attitude, though not her intellect nor her obsessive work-ethic. Her father is, unfortunately, a rather awful person, obnoxious to all and abusive to his mate, but has somehow become entangled in her birth clan. She has several siblings, both mortal and Exalted, and a half-sister, Tetrazene, in Hyskerekk's home clan. On her mother's side, Imminnyll is the descendant of a Plague coatl who leaks toxic metal mated to a Light coatl of stern but kind nature. Her maternal grandfather's line is a mix of coatls, ridgebacks, and plentifuls, speckled with spirals and wildclaws; her maternal grandmother, a varied mix of dragons thick with skydancers, pearlcatchers, and coatls.

Imminnyll has been reunited with her long-thought-dead ember mouse companion, Mvvb, though in their time apart they seem to have lost their old connection to each other. The mouse seems to have survived the intervening time by bonding to one of the local Beastfolk as a familiar, and in the meantime has sired several generations of ember mice that dwell in the calmer ash flats in the northeast of Cindercone's territory.

Hnnsaaa the Cinder Nymph is somewhat unemployed, as there are abundant sources of heat in the vicinity, but remains around.
