I have been here since the beginning, in some shape or form. I was Marina's first mate, the first to shatter her bright heart when I joined the Tidelord defending our first nest from attackers. I failed her then, and yet she bore no ill will when the hatchlings joined me short after; only the guilt of having survived and the terrible, deep mourning of losing everything at once.

However, much to my joy, she wasn't alone for long. A young Skydancer found her laying on the beach, fresh from fleeing the Shifting Expanse. Thunderseeker became a much needed friend and ignited the spark inside her chest that allowed her to move forward at last.
