to encourage his offspring to carry on his family's Stonewing tradition and only take mates with wings of Stone. Ulic complied, but of course the spirited Dia refused, and now his grandchildren have orange wings

He will seek aid from Raik's fisherdrake brethren, and ask Clan Redemption to board their meat-eaters. He was unwise to strain alliances with his stubbornness.
