Oh was it good to be somewhere new! She hated being in one place for long, everything got so boring after a while without anything to liven the day. Whenever she finally moved somewhere new it was like throwing fresh wood in a dying fire, it filled her up with energy and had her near giddy with excitement. It also helped fuel her desire for adventure and she was itching to explore and see what she could dig up and what the history behind it would be.

She was already falling in love with the bazaars in the Steppes and all the things you could find. It was so different from the rare auctions and vast collections in Ice and Lightning’s efficient markets and commissions. It was certainly different from the self-sufficient Fire and its barter system. She was flitting from stall to stall but ignored the more common and even exotic wares and questioned the owners about the oddest and oldest items and how they came about them. She honed in on the stalls that were out of the way and selling uncommon things and what most people would call scrap. She bought several things to send back to her family for souvenirs or later study but sadly had to forgo much since she tried to travel as lightly as possible. As she settled into her rented space for the night she was eager for dawn and what the next day would bring.
