Armor: A symbol of defense, indefatigability, resolution, tenacity, stoicism, retribution, and loyalty. Necromancers wearing armor are holy knights, often serving on behalf of the Necromantic Council to hunt down the condemned who have transgressed against Mother. Charlatans masquerading as Necromancers, unholy necromancers who raise the undead, feral Ghouls, and Lichs are all considered their prey. Necromancers wearing armor will serve without question, and will destroy whatever enemy they are pointed towards. Lore notes: After receiving seemingly fatal wounds in battle, Church was spurred on by a Revitalizer before blacking out. When he awoke, he reflexively sought out his Master, Seren. Somewhere he realized a Lich was most likely involved in his "survival" though he did not have memories of this process or who it was who "helped" him. This allowed Church to disregard the stillness of his heart and the lack of hunger and necessity of breath, at least until he was reunited with Seren. They had braved countless battles together, and yet he had never seen the Necromancer look so infirm and ashen. The haunted eyes that his Master had laid upon him still color his deepest misgivings. Now they both lean on his absence of key memories without further exploration. Church is back to work as he was before his injuries. His brain is foggier than it had ever been and his service more intense and single-minded.
