OKHOTNIK
The Grim One - Loyal - Unbending

As we all know, The Plaguebringer loathes the undead. Despite, or perhaps because of this, millions of plaguelings practice necromancy. What is a god to do? Well, if you’re The Filthy One, you corrupt the newly-migrating Gaolers and adapt them until they’re perfect for withstanding the Wasteland and keeping pesky necromancers at bay. When threats and pestilence don’t work, a hulking dragon modeled after the terrifying Graveyard Guardian of old just might do the trick. Meet Okhotnik, one of the first Graveyard Gaolers.

Most Graveyard Gaolers interpret The Plaguebringer’s disdain for Emperors as extending to all undead, and seek to cull, contain, and prevent more undead from being formed. They take their job very seriously, and many genuinely believe that the existence of the undead is a blight upon the world.

Okhotnik is a very strict Cremationist, believing that the Undead are a sin in the highest degree and should be purged whenever possible. He is constantly on the lookout for new undead sins for him to crush under his feet; which is why is was kicked out of his original clan, he tried to murder some of the residant Imperial. “A live Imperial is just a future Emperor.” He’d always say.

Okhotnik’s stay in Corrosionius hasn’t been much better. He tried to kill one of the local peaceful undead, and was banished to the outskirts. While living in the Tallowbark Forest, he met a mangy Graveyard Gaoler by the name of Kladbishche, who lived in a tiny hut thanks to xyr oikophobia. Xe is a Cermationist and much less extreme in xyr beliefs. Okhotnik was disgusted by this at first, but came to realize that leading a life controlled by religion was a life wasted.
