Sierra is the epitome of spite-driven success. In her prior life, she lived happily in a wind clan with her family and loved ones, a picturesque life of love, minor struggle, and general peace.
This all changed when the necromancer appeared with his undead minions. Chaos reigned for a few short days, and before long everyone was dead. Not for long, of course. The necromancer found those salvageable bodies and chained their dying souls to their degrading bodies, and tied it all up with a ribbon of neverending servitude.
Sierra was one of the 'lucky survivors', brought to her knees by the magical might of the necromancer and bound to him for survival. She lived a half-life, filled with rage and driven to kill under command of forces beyond her power. But she had always been a patient one, so she bided her time. Every battle made her stronger, every kill gave her more strength until eventuallly she decided she didn't want to serve any more. The necromancer lost more than just his life that day, and Sierra now has settled down in Aeternum as a mercenary-for-hire. A non-lifetime of killing doesn't leave you that easily, and she really is quite good at it.
