Dragon Log

The only child so far of Flamecaster and "Mischief," he takes after his mother in hobbies... but his father in temperament. The result is a mage much more interested in experimenting with Elemental Magic than simply researching it, and much more attune to the wilder sides of the Fire Element.... though his native magic is, of course, Arcane. His first familiar was a sign of this duology, as the Scarlet Flycatcher is a beautiful mage in his own right.... and a deadly adversary, having learned the more volatile forms of Arcane magic.

1-20-15: The Pearlcatcher's Scarlet Flycatcher familiar has Awakened! Perhaps now he won't be quite so aggressive to the rest of the Clan...

1-23-15: The Flycatcher is still aggressive, but he may be settling down soon, as he has found a friend as aggressive as he is. Oh dear....
The Pearlcatcher is just as fascinated by this new addition to their little "family," as the Sentinel Mith is definitely powered by some kind of magic.... and certainly wild....

4-23-15: The Sentinel Mith has Awakened! It does not seem to be making much difference, however... the Mith is still floating around terrorizing everything in sight.... perhaps the Luna Mith can convince him to settle down?

9-26-15: During the Starfall Celebration this year, a number of the Clan's male Pearlcatchers got caught in a magical storm. The result was an interesting Crystalpine Aura Accent change in their appearance. It looks better on some than others....

11-20-17: This Pearlcatcher's habit of bonding with fierce magelike beings continues, as his newest friend is a Maren Warlock. No one in the Clan is quite sure what the Pearlcatcher did to catch the aloof merman's attention, but it is clear that the two are extremely happy together...

3-1-18: The Maren Warlock has Awakened! The Pearlcatcher is very happy for his friend, and looking forward to seeing what new battlespells the Warlock will come up with now....

9-3-18: There seems to be a spreading effect in the Clan, as more and more dragons are acquiring odd looking "halos" that reflect their magical leanings. This particular Pearlcatcher acquired a Conflagrant Halo when he decided to journey to the Flameforger's Festival this year...
