Biography
F E I D H E L M
Feidhelm has always felt the call of the necromancers from a very young age. This could have been due to his abandonment as a young hatchling by his parents or the influence of his grandfathers legion. His grandfather is Reginn the leader of a group of Necromancers called The Legion. His grandfather is a strong ruler in his opinion, while others believe that he is just a power hungry imperial that just happened to be blessed by the Flame mother. He can understand why others believed that with seeing how many followers his grandfather has but he’s never shown ill intentions toward others. Due to his bloodline having such close relations with both the plague mother and the flame mother it was no surprise when Feidhelm started the trials and ventured out of his birth clan. Along the way the trials helped strengthen him but also brought him closer to Plaguebringer than he ever thought possible. Even though he is on the last stretch of the trials, he found a clan in probably the least likely light that any plague warrior would imagine. He found a home within the Wind Flight that is tucked into Singer's Brook that welcomes all, no matter the circumstances. After getting settled into his new home he eventually picked back up the trials which was where he met his fierce mate Xibalba. Now his mate wasn’t participating in the trials quite yet. She was being initiated through the plague mother’s way by receiving her blessing through the marks along her body and wing tips appearing like the scars left among the Wandering Contagion. He happened to stay and watch the ceremony and blessing occur for he had not witnessed the initiation due to his descent from Reginn. After the female’s ceremony was over, members began to welcome her with different items or things. At the time all he had on him was the Bloodstone his grandfather had given him when he was just a hatchling. When it was his turn to approach the female he felt some sort of connection towards her and he had yet to even meet her. He pulled out the Bloodstone and presented it to the female and introduced himself to her. A while after introductions finished up and fellow necromancers began to exit and go about their day. As Feidhelm began to leave he heard Xibalba call out to him. He turned towards her and tilted his head in question. |
When she reached up to him it was almost as if things clicked into place, just like his father and grandfather mentioned the sort of click when you meet your soulmate and he understood. Xibalba lowered her head in respect towards him and asked him if he would like to work with her as a part of training for her trials. He stood there in a bit of a shock that someone would ask him for help. Most tend to avoid him due to who his grandfather is. After his initial shock cleared up he spoke to her, “I’d love to help you train Xibalba”. She turned a flushed color as she heard him say yes to helping her train. He nudged her softly to get her moving so they wouldn’t be locked in the sanctum and they began to talk about training; also about where they would meet up at as well. Before he knew it, other dragons were calling the pair of them the “Woe Bringers”; due to the havoc they brought opponents on the battlefield. But also how fluidly they moved almost as if they were one being instead of individuals. He was able to witness how fierce Xibalba was toward opponents, especially if he was pinned and couldn’t retaliate in time. Shortly after that battle both imperials came to realize that they were soulmates or in better terms a bonded pair. Their realization of this made things so much easier to work together but also to converse about the potential future. When Feidhelm’s grandfather caught wind of this imperial that happened to capture his grandson’s heart, he sent the pair a letter informing that he would like to meet this imperial. For deep down this older imperial even though he sought out power he still cared for his family. So the pair then traveled back to Feidhelm’s birth clan to see what Reginn wished to know. The meeting with Reginn was rather interesting, it went rather well with him actually being in a way proud of his descendant for choosing a necromancer as a mate. The pair were given the skulls, grasp, and even the plaguebringer standard that they now take everywhere with them as a sign of their allegiance to the plague. They might not have been together long but they always will feel the thrill of going into battle together. And maybe somewhere down the line future generations will feel the same calling he had when he was just a hatchling. |
Feidhelm is probably among one of my favorites that I have within my lair. He comes from a bloodline that produced an offspring that heard a call to create a home for necromancers. Feidhelm himself partially is themed off his grandfathers lore and also is a Primordius Carrionix~
