Personally likes to best opponents in combat, but supports more evasive styles of fighting.
Spends most of her time gathering knowledge and training, all work no play... pr as she would say to her its all play.

She is confidant in her decisions and does not care if she offends others.
She silences her natural skydancer abilities to sense a dragons aura because she believes that emotions are never black and white, some one can believe they are true but be corrupt to the bone. Also having an extra sense can give conflicting information, so she relies on the physical cues such as the posture, ticks and vocal expressions. She know that she may of miss judged some dragons to their detriment and she ask forgiveness especially if she took their life but to lead is to make mistakes and if you let it way to much on your conscience then you will make more mistakes.

When Barbery returned home after spending most of her life aiding another clan she felt sad. From what she saw the lair had become strong but lived divided. Though she had heard great stories of the savior Othu he no longer was the ruler from the legend. He struggled with lots of issues and the loyalty for him was blind. while his followers where strong they held power not because they should but because they did not want the other factions to gain control of the clan. Barbery saw the other factions and kind of agreed, each was an extreme and none really supported the other. So she spent a lot of time with her mother Heeroku playing the part of political adviser/ ambassador. After learning all she could about the lair, with a few allies and a agreement from the other factions to not intervene she took over the lair by force. Barbery despises her mother but used the fact that she would not fight her own daughter to weaken Othu's defense.


This is a double headed question. Strength is important but just strength is not enough. If a dragon with integrity, loyalty and will protect the clan beats me I will happily step down and support the. But if a dragon with no pure motives beats me just to seek fame or power I will die to free the clan of them... and hope there is someone better to lead them if I can not.

I do not want my clan weak and will do some things that may be seen as questionable but I would not use them with out a greater purpose.
they re very hard to read, but with practice you learn that the head frills say a lot even with a small degree of shift up or down. Skydancers have a much less extreme meaning to facial feather movement but it is similar .. just a small move out and down for feas is like a scream for another dragon. If anything having less to observe makes it easier to see the actually changes because everything means something.
She is selfish, her devotion to my father and his friend Othu made her weak. She did not see that her positive attitude to grow the clan and make it safe allowed a lot of dragons to use her. Growth is not always good, if you do not have a strong leader that will control it. Also, she never really cared for her children in the sense of a mother. More in the sense of a teacher... and new dragons from other clans always got preference because they helped formed treaties.. and all I
did was possibly replace her latter on.. but that was so far off it was not worried about now.
