B I O G R A P H Y

Main Theme: Healer/Therapy, Stand By You.

______ BBefore Eros found his calling as a Therapy dragon, he had gone through his own hardships. His name had given him his title. He was the love dragon. He grimaced at the name every time somebody said it. Eros hated his name for the longest time. His name titled him yet he could not find the one thing he was named for -- love. All his relationships seemed to fall through. The relationship with his parents was the best relationship he had going at the time. The Skydancer had given up on finding somebody to spend the rest of his days. He moped in his den while coming out only to eat and to finish his tasks for the day.

Eros fell in love. The Imperial was beautiful. She “screamed” the perfect mate. Her colors were the same pink colors that shown through his scales and fur. When he interacted with her, she wanted to know about him. Eros found himself coming out of his den more and more. He spent a lot of time with her. She spent a lot of time with him. Eros was happy. He had finally found love. His personality shone to match his forsaken name.

His world crashed around him.

“I’m sorry,” she muttered to him. “I do like you, Eros. But, I do not love you in such a way. You’re like a brother to me.”

The one dragon he thought could love him back … didn’t love him. He went backwards. The dragon stayed within in his den more often than he had before meeting her. Eros had been heartbroken. He didn’t know what to do with his life anymore. At least, he felt this way until the Skydancer had gone to eat when he spotted a dragon moping in the grass. He didn’t want to stop, but Eros felt he had to stop.

“What’s wrong?” he asked the moping Fae.

The Fae’s head popped up from the grass before she blinked at him. “Oh. It’s nothing. I was turned down once again.”

“Love is a fickle thing,” spoke Eros as he lay in the grass with her. “But, don’t let it get to you. Don’t end up like me, little Fae.”

He talked to the Fae far more than he could remember he spoke with any other dragon. She was comforted by him, yet he was comforted by her. It was this moment Eros decided to try and turn his negatives into positives for others. The Skydancer was told he was a good listener; therefore, Eros decided to travel to listen to others. To tell them his story. To help others get through their dark times and rough patches. He grew into his therapy role.

And … he enjoyed it..
