ABOUT: - one day there will be more than just some bulletpoints i swear - lives (mostly) peacefully deep beneath the Borderlands. shares his cave with the Sire who inflicted him with Gunpowder and protects them from any outside threats - Forges everything himself, and buys from Ashen traders things that he can't make. - got his Symbio from a Sire that I need to buy - but basiclly it was "you help me - i help you" kind of deal... and Sire had some different ideas about offering help, but they definitely didn't mean harm. "oh hey dude you look weak here have a new friend :)" -- Zed was not happy at fisrt to say the least. it took him a couple of years to come to terms with his condition, and another to understand true intentions of the Sire. so now they're good buddies, and Gunpowder heavily respects them still - keeps tabs on other carrionix that live on Ashen grounds - forgets stuff quite easily, tries to write everything down... or asks Gunpowder (his symbiot) to remember for him

Their small flock grew. The underground gallery, which Zed had originally chosen as a temporary shelter for himself and Sire, starded speaking one day with two new voices. Then followed by two more, and at some point he was surprised to find himself thinking that he was not against such an outcome. He is happy to provide shelter to brothers and sisters rejected by other clans - but only if they do not hang on his spine like a dead weight.

But he wasn't ready to become a leader. Even if he was no stranger to brute force, even if his body was not devoid of rough scars, he was more a craftsman than a warrior. The six-armed master observes and creates, helps and distributes. He had cared only about himself for so many years, considered Sire an exception to his own rules, and now a certain contentment with the progress of his character was replaced by horror at a non-existent threat and self-doubt.
And while his hands were forging another masterpiece aimed at helping a wounded fellow, his mind, trying in vain to keep focus on work, was full of superfluous thoughts. He sees, hears, feels - neither the symbiotes nor the carriers see him as the only and unbreakable defender. They do not throw responsibility for their lives on his shoulders, on the contrary, they themselves are ready to fulfill their duty with a wing and a claw at any moment, to become an indestructible wall between the infirm and an external threat, whatever it may be.

But that doesn't make it any easier for him.
