( dream - emerald )

Opal is one of YeWang's few evasive concubines. He was captured as a Prisoner of War from a foreign territory, until YeWang happened to find Opal's countenance enticing enough to be bought into the palace as both a companion and a trophy.

He was originally a headstrong and dignified warrior. He is a much older dragon, so attempts a face of apathy and pride, and has thus inadvertently become a favorite of the emperor's to use. Opal's exact feelings toward YeWang are complex and unpredictable, often turning from hatred to passion within the same night. His alias is MengCui.

QingHe both pities and admires his steadfast nature, though it is gradually being whittled away by YeWang.
