she loves her work and feels as one with stones and metals.

Fibbs is a female Snapper from the Starfall Isles. From an early age, she started becoming interested in tinkering with things, and making things as well. She’d often wander away from the nest to get her hands on building materials, building whatever her little mind could come up with. It didn’t matter that Snapper hands couldn’t really grab onto things, she worked around that and created some rather good works of art. As she grew up, she strived to perfect her art, getting into blacksmithing first, before learning how to be a mechanic.

When she works with metals and stones, whatever she can get her hands on, she easily becomes one with it. Despite being an Arcane dragon, Fibbs is a true Earth dragon at heart, being one with her earthy supplies. Put a stone in her hands, and within moments of feeling it and looking it over, she’ll know what sort of stone it is, and what she can do with it. Same with metal. If it’s a hunk of metal or a sheet of metal, it doesn’t take her long to run a hand over it, letting the metal ‘speak’ to her, ‘telling’ her what it wants to be. Or, if she’s fixing something, she becomes one with that machine—letting it ‘tell’ her what needs fixed.

One day, Fibbs discovered a poor android Skydancer, who was practically near death. Taking her in, Fibbs easily replaced the damaged parts with new ones, giving the Skydancer, Genevieve, new life. Since then, she’s worked as Fibbs’ assistant. Though it’s hard to disturb Fibbs once she’s at work, she’s never one to get angry or upset. She enjoys what she does, and is always seen smiling, while smithing or fixing a machine. She’s very easy going, and very easy to get along with. This is one friendly tomboy of a Snapper, indeed!

A fellow Snapper by the name of Edgar, once commissioned her for a pair of glasses. Fibbs was fascinated by the silver gems on Edgar, and the two easily started talking about their love of stones and metals…and soon that friendship blossomed into something more. And Edgar, of course, got his glasses. Fibbs adores her mate, showing him love every chance she gets. She truly is a bright addition to the clan, and to the life of her mate. Her kindness is as warm as the forge in which she works…

Review by Hyracia: Fibbs is such a cutie! I love engineer-dragons, and she's just gorgeous! Rough-and-tumble, highly skilled, and sweet as all get out. I love the Audrey Hepburn quote especially, it really suits her personality. The muted color theme with points of brightness (her eyes, necklace, and flight emblem) looks lovely- like little jewels against a cave wall!
