LYSANDER
the treasurer

Lysander is a dragon who is very fond of treasure and beautiful things. He considers gold to be one of the most beautiful things of all. He can often be found either trying to sell/trade things, counting treasure (which soothes him when he is feeling anxious), or looking for more beautiful things to admire or add to his hoard. He takes pride in the accuracy of his monetary records-keeping and his role as clan treasurer, and is very meticulous about keeping his own personal funds separate from the clan's.

Lysander didn't care much for other dragons until one day, he met the most beautiful dragon he'd ever laid eyes on. She looked as if she were the living embodiment of his most precious of metals, every movement speaking of a fluid, deadly grace which set his heart all a-flutter. He decided to start courting her immediately, only to be shot down without mercy. A little heartbroken, but still determined to show that he was a worthy choice of mate, he tried to impress Aurelia with all manner of treasure, trinkets, and gems from his hoard, but alas, she continued to scoff at his displays.

In his melodramatic misery, he decided to undertake an expedition to find something that would finally impress her, but passed out, as Spirals are prone to do, mid-flight over the Crystalspine Reaches. Luckily for him, Aurelia, who happened to be nearby, managed to catch him before he plummeted into the jagged rocks or the unforgiving ocean below. Since then, she's occasionally taken to looming around him (much to his delight), releasing many put-upon sighs (less to his delight) at his "utter hopelessness", as she terms it.
