The trees rustle with her movements. Flower petals from the blossoming trees fall to the ground in a restless flurry. One lands on his nose. Abraxas smiles fondly and brushes it off. From above, she watches and giggles. At the sound of her laughter, his smile grows wider. She darts down beside him, for once removing herself from her seat among the trees, and watches as he makes the flowers bloom. Her gorgeous, gorgeous flowers. It had taken them so long to formally become a couple after they first met, due to both of their eccentricities. Ianna didn’t leave her trees long enough for more than short conversations. Abraxas didn’t speak enough to make full use of the time he had. Despite that, Ianna knew from the moment she saw him that it was just a matter of time. He loved the flowers just as much as she did, and he didn’t mind that she slept most of the day away, because so did he! Once, he told her that the flowers grew in proportion to the joy he felt. She noticed that they always grew larger when she was around.
When the flowers are in bloom and the wind is blowing softly through the tree branches, Ianna can’t help but be happy. Once, she traveled all over the world, restlessly dashing from place to place in search of—well, nothing in particular. Maybe herself. Whatever she was looking for, she found in the gardens of the Weathering clan. Flowers of every shade and type bloomed around her, and trees reached high enough for her to curl up in and just feel the breeze. She had seen so many sights, both horrible and beautiful, and they all sit comfortably in her mind as she lounges in the branches. When she’s awake, she brings spirit and energy to the clan’s gardens. Flitting from tree to tree, she creates a pleasant rain of petals for anyone who visits and, for those ready to listen, she can spin the most wonderful tales; though it’s up to the listener to decide whether or not they’re true. As she sleeps, her calm presence adds to the serenity of the thriving kingdom of plants surrounding her.
