~Can we be paid in cake?~

Where Eada prefers stability and familiarity, Kellmite sees wonder in a world of change. The shadowborn has always adored stories and enjoys dreaming up ideas, though on less favourable days this can manifest as fearful paranoia. In such times his own predilection for distraction can assist.

The siblings' clan regularly enjoyed roleplaying games, often of the costumed variety. Usually several groups were active at a time, and Kellmite joined as many as possible. At some point during all these games, the Skydancer developed a technique whereby a wardrobe change would occur within a bubble of shadowstuff.

Since the sundering of their clan, Kellmite has insisted they not stay in the same place and seek trading posts, travelling fairs and the like, pointing out that Eada would be better placed to gather rumour of their lairmates that way. Like many Skydancers, Kellmite abhors isolation, and also harbours hopes of finding fellow collaborative storytellers.

Unlike Eada, Kellmite was always more disposed to embrace opportunities for adventure that came the pair's way. In retrospect the pair's parting was inevitable. When opportunity called in a pirate ship seeking recruits, Kellmite couldn't say no.
The decision to say goodbye their sister was naturally far from painless. But ultimately, the two are happier now. Kellmite spends his every day surrounded by adventurous folk with something new to greet the dawn. Eada has found a sedimentary place to call home. The two see one another whenever the ship docks at the Plateau's coast.

Aboard the Duelling Marlin, Kellmite uses his Shadow magic to cloak the ship for surprise attacks and escapes, and for whipping up quick disguises not unlike the Skydancer's magical transformation sequences.
