Element

Perhaps of all the dragons that have come under Noelle and Erebos' care, Element is the one dragon that needed them the most desperately. She traveled from her birth clan with a wonder in her soul, a curiosity in her heart and a desire to see the world. She took no companions, she had faith in the goodness of others.

Her naïveté was her undoing. She was set upon by furious, savage beast clans, torn nearly limb from limb, and left for dead. She would have been lost, and it's possible that she was, but when she awoke again, her wings clicked and whirred, her joints bound in metalwork.

Element was now a cyborg, rescued by the Arcanist himself, desperate for a new test subject for his work. He wasn't unkind to her, but she declined his invitation to stay in the Isles.

She began to wander again, bitterly this time, she tried to return to her parents, her birth clan, but found they no longer recognized her, and they chased her away. It turned out to be the rule, not the exception, as time and time again she was driven from potential safety by those who were horrified by her mechanics and gears.

When she stumbled upon Refuge, and Noelle looked on her with love, she knew she was home. She blossomed in her new clan, regained her cheerfulness, but retained the wisdom of the world. She spends her time acting as the official healer for the rest of her clanmates, and always extends her deepest love to any who feel left out or different.
