Biography

MzTONMK.png
Emir was destined to be king of one of the Light empires, till of of course he had been born grey. Coatl's believe that hatchlings that are born grey or white are bad omen's, and are exiled to protect the rest of the clutch. For this to happen to a royal blood line was enough to remove them from power. In order to avoid this his father Oliver named him Cormac "impure son" in shame and hired Berke to get rid of him. His father pronounced that his egg had never hatched, to protect his royal position.

Berke however toke pity on the little prince. Instead of killing the hatchling he brought him to Lucian the clan leader. Lucian was more then happy to accept Cormac, renaming him to Emir "Prince". From there one the clan treated him like one of their own. Spoiling the hatchling with sweat treats and little trinkets. They made sure Emir knew he was loved in his new clan despite any myths of him being a bad omen. As every hatchling does when Emir sow all the grown dragons with familiars he wanted one of his own. Being a spoiled hatchling that he was, Emir thought if he simply asked for one he would just be given one. This however didn't happen. Getting a familiar proved it was not going to be as easy as asking for his favorite snack.

"I want you to take care of this little caterpillar until it becomes fully grown. Only then can you get a familiar." Lucian stated handing Emir a large leaf.

On top sat a large Black Swallowtail Caterpillar. It mindlessly munched away at the end of the leaf unbothered by the fact it could be a tasty snack to any passing dragon. Emir stared at it, it had to be the weakest must helpless creature in the forest. It didn't have spikes or claws, it couldn't even move very fast.

"Do I have to take care of something so useless? Can't I get something more cool? Like one of the Tiger cubs?" Emir whined loudly.

"If you want to try taking a cub from their mother I won't try to stop you, but I can tell you it won't end well!" Lucian chuckled. "But in any case I need you to raise this creature, it's very special. That's why I chose it for you."

"Okay.... If I have to...." Emir said staring doubtfully at the creature. It sure didn't look special. It seemed to Emir Lucian had just wondered into the forest and brought back the first insect he could find. He reluctantly took care of it seeing as it was the only way he could get a real pet. Emir found an empty jar laying around so he put the swallowtail in there as to not lose it.

His first real challenge was finding out what it ate. There were so many different plants in the jungle but it seemed like his little caterpillar was going to be an even pickier eater then he was. He had already tried giving it Spinach, Clovers, and Blood Spath leaves. None of which seemed to meet he caterpillars fancy which he nickname munch, because all he did was eat and sleep all day.

"I give up theres got to be someone in the clan that knows what you eat." He grumbled to himself.

Aine came into mind she took care of many creatures if anyone would know it was her. Emir made his way to the nursery were Aine spent most of her time.

Greater Plantain

The first few days were annoying having to find food that the caterpillar liked and having to make sure no hungry dragon mistake it for a snack.
