Devoted to his mate and Clan (the latter as a whole being his charge), Pine is aquiet but deeply caring dragon. He patrols and oversees his Clan's daily activities, assisting with any task if needed. He especially enjoys helping younger clanmembers find their niche as they mature. His favorite part of any day is returning to the Clan Matriarch, his mate, Argosine, and reporting how different parts of the clan are running. Also, gently reminding her what and who some of the tasks and members respectively are, as her tundra memory does not always retain all the details. If any threat were to befall the Clan, even the smallest hint of blight on a peacock fern in the territory, Pine would be the first to react and prepare to defend the Clan, turning from benevolent and mild to a force to be reckoned with.
Pine doesn’t remember much of his birth clan. At the outset of his search for his charge, he suffered a head injury from a falling branch. He imagines, however, that his clan was kind and instilled in him his sound moral compass. He hopes that he has made them proud but is also happy to be the founder of a clan rather than having shoes to fill. He is especially happy to have stumbled upon Argosine as she was starting the clan.
