While extremely speedy, Kojin doesn't have much endurance. His skill at chopping vegetables is unmatched amongst his clanmates, but he couldn't last more than a few minutes in a fight. He prefers to be left alone to cook, and rarely starts up a conversation.

A past life

____The night was quiet as Kojin stirred the bubbling pot of stew he'd prepared for the crew's evening meal. The ship creaked underneath him, the rhythmic movement of the waves gently rocking it beneath his feet. He was grateful tonight was calm, since he loathed trying to cook when his kitchen and all its utensils were being tossed in every direction by the whims of the raging sea.

____It was nights like this where he was reminded why he'd chosen this life, though he still found himself wishing for a change of pace some days. The crew was loud, annoying, and often demanding, wanting him to serve things that were impossible to make in a cramped ship's kitchen with the limited fresh ingredients he had access to. He longed to stretch his wings and travel somewhere where he could experiment with his meals, add the flair he never could, work in a kitchen where he had all he needed to create masterpieces worthy of his name. He smiled slightly at the thought. Perhaps soon he would follow through with it.

Having previously lived on a ship, Kojin learned quickly how to help prepare food for many hungry mouths. Now he helps make meals for all of the clan, spending most of his days in the dens or the clan's communal kitchen.
