Nyx is an excellent and trained warrior. He knows probably as much of fighting as his familiar; a centaur archer he met in a war with the beastclans. The centaur looked up to Nyx, because of his skills in fighting, but also because of his qualities of taking the charge of his clan. Nyx is a true leader. He's honest, righteous, straight away and powerful. He cares much about the other dragons in the clan.Nyx is also a hunter. With Spirit he leads the hunting team. The clan need food you know, and most dragons eat meat. Nyx trains new dragons, young dragons, to become hunters and warriors. His centaur helps him with that. And his two sons ofcourse. Nyx is a dragon dark as the night. When he began The Search, he wanted to find something that would change his life. He couldn't find it. When he was in The Lesser Lair of the Everbloom Gardens he thought of The Gladekeeper and the gift, his life, she had given to him. So he begged her for someone to talk to. At first he thought The Gladekeeper had forgotten him, but a few days later he saw another dragon. It was a mirror female. Viola. They decided to travel together and explore the Viridian Labyrinth side by side. There's a place in the Shrieking Wilds, near the Gladeveins where the trees are old, the ground and fallen trees are overgrown with other plants like moss and fern. There are small waterfalls and streams. The dark forest begins there. The trees grow closer, the air is thick. More plants and rocks. Like a dark jungle. It is said the forest is steeped with magic. Many dragons search for spells or prophecies there. Some may never return. It was Nyx who started his clan here and decided to claim these grounds as his territory. He liked the dark of the dark forest. But loved the little streams and the bright green colors of the other part of the forest, close to the dark forest. He loved both places. And the place within. And so he called his clan 'Clan of the Fallen Trees'. Nyx knows know it wasn't Viola who he needed and often thanks the Gladekeeper for this part of the Viridian Labyrinth.

A shadowy figure, Nyx stood at or near the beginning of creation and mothered other personified deities such as Hypnos (Sleep) and Thanatos (Death), with Erebus (Darkness). (source)
