Mythos is a ghost in this realm, a mark or impression left behind by the very beginnings of dragonkind, an echo of a time long past. He has sat within the deepest hollow of the Behemoth close to his element for years without end, unseen and untouched by the outside world. Moss, ferns and small plants cover and stretch over his hide, their roots keeping him pinned to the ground. With every sense darkened, silenced or dulled his body is weak but it is his mind that thrives.

Nothing is beyond his reach, he can hear all of dragonkind, their souls whisper secrets to him and he can feel their presence scattered atop the earth like raindrops against his scales. For so very long he has listened to every fear and insecurity, every dream and vision, every ambition and scheme, all from his isolated perch in the heart of his birthplace. They are many but Mythos is able to pick out any one like a single thread from a great weave, pluck at it and listen to it sing. He has lived a hundred thousand lives through those around him, from all walks of life; from the icy crags of The Southern Icefield to the dry, dusty plains of Dragonhome, from all perspectives and all experiences.

Locked away in his own void as he is, Mythos has very little influence over Sornieth, but he goes to great lengths to extend his reach to those like him. He seeks them out, those from a shared past with memories of a young labyrinth, a young nature flight, out of place relics left behind by time itself. He calls to them and they gather, drawn to his siren call by shared kinship, turning back to the place they took their first steps and the very place that has cradled Mythos since his beginning. He carefully collects them like raindrops in a desert, each one precious to him, he won't let them fade as he has seen happen so often. These ancient dragons are the only connection to a past otherwise forgotten and so he keeps them close, protects and guides them as their mysterious patron. Separate and fractured they are merely dust in the wind, but together they are powerful, wielding a rich collection of wisdom, knowledge, and experience that a single dragon could only hope a glimpse of.
