B I O G R A P H Y



______ Though he is Wind-born, there are very few dragons who can best Haku's power and speed in the water. His lithe form curls and twists around rocks so that even his clanmates have difficulty spotting him, and the iridescent texture of his scales ripples like the gentle lapping of the sea.

He is, understandably, proud of the way he blends in. Haku loves the water, almost more than anything else. There is no feeling to match the way the water closes around him, holds him tight, and in peacetime, there are few more proficient hunters. He often whiles away hours diving as deep as he can down towards the Spiral Keep, daring himself to go a little further everyday. In times of danger, he fights with the mages with magical strength, using the strange and curious magic he learned in an unfortunate apprenticeship in the Starfall Isles, long ago.

Though settled into the soothing freshwater of the Sea, Haku will still sometimes heed the call of the wind and disappear for days or weeks at a time, on strange quests of his own invention. He will swim up rivers and crawl across the plains of the Ruins and the Boneyard; dip and dive and explore the strange, salty depths of the sea that isolates the Southern Icefields from the rest of the world. He is, perhaps, the only dragon in the clan willing to brave the unpleasant itch of transitioning from fresh to salt water.
