Personality
An enthusiastic leader and symbol of the Nocturne colony that lives within the Bellworks, Monday is outgoing and friendly. She's taken her responsibility and rise to leadership in stride, and has decided to use her powers for the good of the whole of the Bellworks rather than taking a self-serving stand the way the Mirrors and their Rose Incaendium have. Her one major goal in life is to make sure everyone is as satisfied with their roles in the Works as possible and she will work as hard as she has to in order to reach it. |

Monday is extremely loyal and defends even her acquaintences fiercely. Curiosity is one of her stronger traits and this is what led to her discovery of the Caller in the caverns down below. Her enthusiasm for projects and her research is contagious and she is often recruited by other members of the Bellworks to motivate people. As long as she thinks a project is interesting, fun, or adventurous, she can get others to get behind it just as strongly as she has. Being among the older Nocturnes in the Works she has become known as a sort of den mother to the others, offering a sympathetic ear when its needed or coming through and cheering up others just because. She likes to pull good-natured pranks on others, often as a way to give out gifts sh's picked up during her travels. Her sense about the moods of others is fine tuned and she can easily switch between giving advice and just being a shoulder to cry on without being asked. She could be described as a little naive- she likes to think the best of others, even when it burns her, and she's willing to give others a second chance or many more chances besides. Often, she takes new Nocturnes and fledging hatchlings under her wings for a while to give them a bit of guidance if they need it. |

History
Monday started life as a foundling egg, raised in the Bellworks creche alongside many of the other Nocturnes that make their home here. The others tend to see her as a sort of leader of their colony, a responsibility she shares this honor with her mate, Friday. The two of them were key in getting everyone else to start exploring the uninhabited caverns down below the Works, when they started bringing back excited stories about some kind of a thing that was living down there. Even though Monday has been one of the most frequent visitors to the place she calls the Down Below, she's never seen the thing known as the Caller. She's heard it and she's smelled it and she's seen evidence that it exists, but she's never com face to face with it which is something she's very happy about. She has always insisted that if they had actually come across it that bad things would start to happen in the Works. |

In spite of this wariness, she's eager to learn more about the being and has launched into intense research into things that seem to match up with the bits and pieces she's found down there. Carefully copying down runes and drawings off the walls and ceilings, taking samples, and venturing outside of the Bellworks to see if she can find anything like it anywhere else in Sornieth. She believes that the key to the Caller's identity can be found in the Ghostlight Ruins, and she can be found there when she's not directing tasks for the Nocturnes at the Bellworks. She makes sure to keep any scrap of paper or tome she finds there, no matter how damaged and difficult to decipher they may be, and the nest she shares with Friday is littered with stacks of books and papers. While the others may be willing to swap partners at times, Monday has only ever been interested in Friday and would describe him as her other half. She enjoys having hatchlings and doesn't mind having them hang around for a while after they've grown up if they're not quite ready to move on. Several of her offspring have chosen to stay at the Bellworks, while some have moved on to other clans or have gone off to help the Flamecaller. She helps Uskir with her Mith army, but doesn't entirely trust anything that looks like it should be someone's food. One major request, which resulted in her most valued item, was to be made several strings of bells with mystic runes engraved on the outsides, which she can wear as a belt or draped around her shoulders. She believes they bring her some extra protection while she's exploring the Ruins or Down Below. |
