Biography

Mother of the Lost

"My pledge remains faithful to you."

There's a universe within each facet or her crystal scales, there's a truth inside each sentence she speaks. For each burden to bear there's a destiny to claim, and for each of Noire's children there's a pledge from their mother.

Noire was always a good mother to her children. Each child had their own flower growing for them in their chambers, wilted leaves always neatly picked off and kept healthy so they would always have something beautiful and clean to look at before going to sleep at night. What she taught her children through small things like that was to keep one's soul clean and to feed one's mind with new and alive thoughts.

She wanted to keep her children away from thoughts she had had after seeing her babies hatched. Holding the whole world's pain and burdens within herself, fearing for future and her childrens' destiny. She found keeping balance hard while her mind was full of memories, arriving each night like pouring rain. Memories of childhood, without parents or a safe place to lie down every night.

She made a pledge to all of her children before they left to seek out their own fate. "I will always be there when you need my advice. I will share your sorrows and your joy, I will make sure you never become lost."

Some of her children now serve the gods, some have their own family, but Noire is still looking for her true home. It isn't easy to hold memories of each passing feeling that ever came or to worry about infinity of possibilities what could happen to her beloved ones.

Her role is not one of a shallow person, she will not play a role to define herself, what she feels is simply an undefined law of nature. Her role is to love, to grieve, to rejoice and to remember everything that has happened to her little pieces of universe. Each memory of the forever lost grasp of their destiny is faceted to the marvelous crystals that make up her scales.
