Mate: Lavandula
It used to be that anytime a potentially poisonous bug or meat was brought back to the clan by its foragers or warriors, Lanturn the daredevil would eat it. Now, his alchemist mate reduces any dangerous food items to create soylent yellow, and then has her mate eat it, satisfying his appetite and her curiosity. This is an improvement... most likely.
Of the Nocturnes born of the Night of the Nocturne in the Peacock Fern Clan, he is the only one who does not feel a deep patriotism to his element. While the others saw the Peacock Fern's dedication to Nature and applied that between Nature and their personal element, Lanturn applied it all to Nature. His Clan had no experience nor knowledge of Plagueling culture, and it contrasted with the displayed Nature attitudes so much that he could not really discover it on his own. Nevertheless, his disease affinity has manifested in small ways, such as his interest in medicinal herbs. He has no interest in magical healing but likes trying to treat wounds with poultices or coughs with aromatic combinations of herbs and flowers. He also enjoys creating poisons, which, again, his mate confiscates and reduces before anyone gets harmed.
