Biography

During the darkest month of the year, whispers began to spread: the legend of the Nocturne was making the rounds again. The Clan council did not bother to convene; nobody had ever seen a Nocturne outside the Tangled Wood (or, perhaps, even inside it). In the Lightweaver's domain, very few dragons even believed in the Shadowbinder's children.

Then an egg was found, its species and even its element uncertain. Its thick shell mimicked horns, and the finder, ever-fierce Grave, was of the opinion that it should be smashed before it should hatch into a threat to the Clan.

Fortunately for its occupant, she brought it before the Council, and wise Maraschino took a look at it. The Arcanist's trance came upon her then, and before the eyes of the clan, she worked magic that brought the egg to maturity, and precipitated its hatching.

Out rolled a tiny hatchling, horned and spined and shifting in color. When the magic settled, she was blue and brown, with delicate rippling markings much like the passage of magic over her scales. She sat up and mimicked the startled Snapper's position so well that the Council's laughter could be heard all down the terraces.

~

Clan linguist, using her keen abilities of imitation to learn the humming language of Coatls and the odd, whispery speech of Fae, as well as the assorted tongues of the Beastclans. Less intimidating and more cunning than most of her clanmates, she uses her small stature to her advantage in speaking with those unlike herself.

Limlaith has taken to traveling with canny Macao, whose tendency to explore matches well with Limlaith's diplomatic nature.
