Always more of a solitary dragon, Erik has devoted his life to the study and practice of alchemy. His hours are filled with mixing, deconstruction, and occasionally food, though that sometimes ends up in the mix as well. Sleep is often eschewed for more work. Erik will sleep when he's dead.

There was one time in his life when he had more. Another dragon, a Wildclaw strong and rude, was with him, protected him, and loved him. They had so much together and then one experiment went wrong and Erik left, unable to stay when it was his fault.

Now Erik travels, constantly looking for new information and testing new possibilities. His life is nothing but work; he deserves nothing else until he rights his greatest wrong. He is determined to fix things, even if it means traveling to the edges of the world and facing the deities themselves. He will do anything for the dragon that was once his mate.
