"Who... are you?" the small yellow snake asks the orange one.
"I am your brother."
She stares at him, nonplussed, blinks and processes that for a moment, then speaks again: "I want to go home."
"Oh me, oh my, sister dearest, please don't tell me that you're to give up on your dreams of making a pâtisserie extraordinaire, are you?" He pronounces the sentence quite oddly: he attempts to make extraordinaire rhyme with pâtisserie, his sentence falling rather flatly in the process.
"But at home, mother would--"
"Mamá never did anything for us, now did she?"
"I--"
"We need to take matters into our own hands," the brother snaps at his sister.
"Please understand. The future is driven by us."

It is generally regarded as unwise to trust a snake. Thuban is no exception. Thuban is an incessantly flirtatious and flamingly gay man, and that in itself is an understatement. He keeps to himself most of the time and spends that time thinking. He is never one to turn down a logic puzzle. Thuban is a big penny-pincher. He lives for money and all that glitters, even if it isn't gold. If he can trick someone into thinking that it is gold, then who cares? Honor is for chumps; gold is where it's at. Though he seems untrustworthy, he is actually very loyal and devoted to his family members. Unaware of it most of the time, he acts thoughtfully and kindly to those he loves. His antics all lead to money, which, in turn, goes towards his sister's funds for culinary school. However, the only thing to make Thuban shiver is also the image of a family. He's wary of united families, all happy and smiling, and he dislikes being around them, even avoiding eye contact. He still interacts with his half-sister Kuma and his daughter Morgan on a regular basis, but he doesn't consider them true family. He instead thinks of himself as a familial failure. |
