The Warrior
Coliseum team: Mire Flier (solo trainer)
Best Friend: Lavandula
The clan's Mire Flier, gifted at birth from an ally Arcane clan, Storeria loves being an integral part of his clan's functioning. Partially, because he loves his clan dearly after fighting for their glory for so long, partially because it keeps his excitable spiral mind occupied, but probably even more so because he loves the attention and being able to call himself a clan hero. One might call him a narcissist- if the praise was not actually well-deserved and earned through hard work. He is extremely well-respected within the clan for the amount of food he brings back from his trips and the number of well-prepared trainees he has seen off to serve the Gladekeeper. He even has scars on his left leg from his Mire battles to prove it (which, of course, he enjoys showing off). He never uses his confidence to put any of his trainees, or anyone else, down however- he seeks to encourage through his glorious example their potential to attain their best selves like he has. His fighting style is very showy but still does not sacrifice efficacy.
Trained through the charity of an ally Nature clan, he retains the scarf his mentor bestowed upon him. It is his most prized possession and his comfort object that he fiddles with when afraid or upset. During battles with other flights, he dons a specific outfit of emerald, to invoke the glory of the flight he represents. He still retains his scarf, of course.
Named for the genus of snakes that his red belly resembles.
His best friend is fellow Arcane dragon Lavandula, who regularly invites him over to see the latest explosive outcomes of her experiments due to their shared, Arcane-rooted curiosity. More recently, he has taken her and her mate Lanturn on as trainees to become Kelp Beds fighters. He has also trained future Mire Fliers Eihwaz and Berkanan. While these sisters view him as an additional father figure, he has not actually formed any especially close familial-feeling ties with specific clanmembers yet. His heart currently belongs to the clan as a whole, and to the limelight. He is very proud of all his trainees, but he never feels paternal or especially protective of them. He trains so many and always watches their potential to be strong manifest into actual levels, so he respects them as mentees. On the other hand, he recently became the proud adoptive father of a Light egg he recovered from a group of Cerdae during one of his training expeditions. Unfamiliar with immature dragons existing in his harsh world of the Mire, he is extremely protective of and devoted to this egg. Caring for it in the Shrieking Wilds outpost, which is not equipped with nursery accommodations, can be difficult, but he is dedicated. He's seen Silt do it before, after all, although he would never be able to trust his precious Light egg to an outspoken Shadow-inclined dragon. On 2/18/2021, he and his imperial trainees recovered an Ice egg from the volcanic vents. He cares for this egg now as well and admires how the dragon within has already proven to be able to survive in the harshest, most unlikely of places until help arrived.
His dream is to gain the respect of the Molten Wartoads he fights and take one on as a familiar.
