Dragon Log

One of three discovered in a set of strange chests on the second-to-last day of the Night of the Nocturne, this little one was relieved indeed when the dragons of the Clan finally managed to coax her egg to hatch a few hours before Noon on the last day. She quickly took to the Clan, and more often than not can be found with Stargazer, the other Nature dragon of the Clan, studying starcharts. At night, she ventures outside to indulge her hobby of watching the sky with the Tundras, though her particular interest appears to be the Moon and its shadows, rather than the stars and their patterns.

2-7-15: She is having trouble thinking of a name for herself, still unsure whether she should name herself for her coloring or her personality…or some combination thereof. One thing she does know is that she will be following in the “tradition” of the rest of the Nocturnes of the Clan, and taking a name from the natural formations found on the object referenced in ancient star charts and scrolls as the “Moon”…

2-26-15: This poor Nocturne has just discovered that she is not that fond of pranks, after getting accidentally caught up in a Trickmurk Circus Prank War with Teeka's Clan. ( , )
The result of this mishap has resulted in the Nocturne’s mentor, Stargazer, to decide to think of a way to intercede on her behalf. This decision has led the Tundra to first, bring a nice gift to Beeblebrox the Ridgeback, and second, come up with an appropriate revenge for the poor Nocturne's unfortunate dining experience.... 4-4-15: While the Nocturne has been busy trying to find a name, her beloved companion has been busy trying to find himself. He, at least, has been successful: The Citrine Cave Jewel has Awakened! Perhaps this will inspire his Nocturne friend to work harder to accomplish her own goal….

8-17-15: The Cave Jewel has decided it is high time he went exploring around the Observatory--much to the concern of most of the Clan who would rather he not bother anyone. The little one is not interested in being deterred, however, and his Nocturne companion, having found a new friend to keep her amused, is not interested in providing that deterrent—though in truth it might well be the addition of the Coppercoil Creeper that has the Citrine Cave Jewel so focused on the idea of leaving “home”….

11-28-15: At long last, the Coppercoil Creeper has Awakened. Perhaps now the Citrine Cave Jewel might be willing to come home a bit more often--especially since the odd bug-like robot is no longer snapping its pincers at everything that comes near....

5-28-17: Another year, another Greenskeeper Gathering....and this year this Nocturne was given a special gift: The Clan allowed their youngest Nature Dragon to have first crack at bonding with the special familiar this year, and the Sprouting Goblin was extremely amendable to the choice. Even better, both the Nocturne's previous bonded companions seem as happy with the Goblin as she is with their dragon....

8-24-17: The Sprouting Goblin has Awakened! Her Nocturne is quite thrilled for her, and already looking forward to the wonderful things they will do together...

3-2-20: This Nocturne has finally decided to emerge once more from the Planetarium, where she has been spending most of her time. Today she went to the hoard instead, apparently looking for something to aid her research….and ended up bumping into a lonely Stonewatch Prince. The male harpy doesn’t look nearly as forlorn as usual, as he helps her set up some odd looking devices in her corner in the Planetarium….

5-30-20: The Stonewatch Prince has Awakened at last! And that Awakening has had a rather unexpected result: Another, much different Harpy arrived at the Lair within the hour of the Prince Awakening. The Mesacliff Royal is insisting that he has been "Called" to the Clan by "his missing family" and will be making his home here from now on. Fortunately, he seems content to make a nest for himself in the Hoard, and does not seem interested in causing trouble among the already bonded harpy familiars--although the unbonded ones may find themselves unexpectedly required to serve this new, arrogant addition to the creature ranks...
