Damianos

"Hear my voice, sire. Your time has come."


Damianos has always been blessed with the gift of foresight. As a hatchling, he was able to predict events that would occur within the hour—now, as a centuries-old oracle, Damianos can glimpse not only the future, but major events to occur throughout the world of Sornieth. It is claimed that he can even see futures of places beyond the eleven realms, but he has never confirmed this.

After serving the Lightweaver for many years, he received a vision of a young hatchling born into a world of ice. As the hatchling grew, he experienced more and more visions of this hatchling’s future. During a strong, clear blue moon he received a vision from King Demelin and Queen Sylva, the original rulers of the Hewn City, and they revealed to him the origins of this hatchling. This hatchling was Legacy, a son born to a fallen king with a very powerful birthright. If only Legacy could somehow be united with the city he was destined to rule...

Damianos took this new information and through a glass-pool ritual sent a vision to Legacy’s father, the Fallen King Arahathan. Once the vision was sent, Damianos then set out to gather together a group of courtly dragons to await Legacy’s arrival. Imperials scattered all over the surrounding realms heeded Damianos’ call, and when the time was right Damianos departed the Lightweaver’s circle and went in search of the Hewn City’s fabled gates.

After locating the gates, Damianos sent out light messengers to bring the dragons he hailed to the Hewn City. They arrived a few moons before Legacy arrived with his group. When Legacy finally arrived and resurrected the city, Damianos was brought into the new king’s group of advisors.
