They say “Harsh lands breed harsh people” - but to every rule there's an exception, and that exception is [Name]. A harsher land than her home can barely be imagined. Your strength defines your chances of survival there, and [Name] has never been one to kill. She grew up in a village, along with many of those she calls friends now, close to the widest lake of the country. Most of the people there were like her, scales and wings and fire at their command, and [Name] loves them, she really does; but adventure, she loves that more. She was young when she left the safety of her cradle for the wonders of the world, and not once has she regretted it yet.

[Name] is rash, and open, and even a bit naïve, one could say. Other people tend to stay away at first glance, but once they get to know her, her charm wraps around them and doesn't let them go again. There is love in [Name], almost too much: Love for the water, for dead birds, be they for feeding or collecting, for all creatures that treat her like a friend, for her friends, of course, and, most importantly, a great love for pranks. She likes to claim that was the reason she turned to traveling: her clan could just not abide her constant vicious pranks anymore. Of course, that is nothing more than another ruse. Countless creatures – dragons, shapeshifters, even humans – have fallen prey to her escapades.

No-one is safe from [Name], and she makes sure they know. But her tricks stay bright and never turn cruel: she's made a child cry once, and the dull feeling in her chest that arose at the sight of the tears is not something she wishes to experience again. She is in the world, her wings trailing behind her and her head held high, sharp eyes watching everything that happens around her. She smiles, most often when her close friend Troy is with her, but without him too, and a smile is all that's needed to scatter the fear that builds in people's heart at her sight. Look closely, and you'll see her in the air, flying high above tiny villages and bustling market cities; you'll see her diving into deep, salty waves, to come out laughing; you'll see her around the corner, between the blacksmith's shop and the fortune teller's tent, with a shawl slung haphazardly over her head, staring at you unblinking with a glint in her eyes.


And somewhere out there, there is a young, purple-eyed and optimistic girl, probably preparing to prank the next unsuspecting victim – better make sure that won't be you.
