Hierarchy is matriarchal and a blood oriented, kind of(?)
Reasons: Clan founder was born with an abundance of mana in a more mana deprived world. Mana is basically lifeblood. Having enough mana could halt ageing altogether and basically could make you immortal. All fae are born with mana and produce them, but one can't sustain by itself. Most of the remaining faes went to colonies the underground world after a war ruined the surface, now a mana deprived land which would slowly end up killing faes.

Clan founder, Snadhya*I, was born after her mother created a project of producing her a child without her directly giving birth. Was one of the few born, and the best and only living from that said project.
Created by using with multiple genes of powerful and known women to create to get a child with ties to each clan, and the clans power*II.

Snadhya's*I bloodline is gifted with being born with a large potential of mana. Trained to make expand that limit, and to provide others with their mana?

Drow wise, Snadhya*I has three true daughters. Snadhya*I is indirectly the twos parent by being the father, with a elf in the surface. Two girls were born, a dark elf and a drow. The two were raised as Snadhya's*I sister, but still the youngest twin, the dark elf was raised primarily by Snad in the surface, while the eldest, the drow, was raised underground.

Her last daughter was fathered by Kalki, was born to Snad*I.

FR wise, Snad created a clan.


Snadhya, are direct descendant of Snadhya, the 'Tainted' Drow due to her two daughters, Mitya and Kalki and son Jaalad. Mitya borne three daughters before her 'death', Khalki'rune, Artemisia, and Slaean. Slaean with Kalki, and the two twins Arte and Khal with a surface living Dark Elf.

Artemisia reigned as a queen in the fortress her mother created that was eventually built into it's own lands and country. Mitya raised her to rule despite her being the second, she was unlike her sister a Dark Elf, not Drow. She inherited her mothers Metamorphosis high sorcery.

Khalki'rune was the designed heir to inherit either the Val'Sharen clan, the Nidraa'chal clan, or Felde. She would either been accepted as either Snadhya's second daughter or as her granddaughter from Mitya. If Snadhya had ruled as the Empress of Chel'el'Sussoloth and the Il'haress of the Vel'Sharen clan, Khal would be the closest heir, if not then to Nidraa'chal, and/or Felde.

When Snadhyas plots have been revealed and prevented, years later Khal would wind up regrouping and leading Mityas merchant clan to help support and defend the remaining 'tainted' and those who have been unknowingly bought in, as well as keep some stability of Chel.
Khal is an excellent summoner, taught by forebearers, Snadhya who was known as one of the most powerful summoner and Mitya. Khal also had a power to open up portals to both the Demon world and other worlds still unknown, a larger extended power from Mitya.

Slaean is the youngest of Mityas daughters, as well as Kalkis daughter as well.
Slaean was meant to inherit Mityas newly made clan of merchants after her passing after Mitya's fortress was given to Arte and a prominent part of Snadhya's to Khal.
Snadhya toyed with the idea of Slaean possibly gaining the title of headmistress of Orthorbbae, Ruler of Felde, or Nidraa'chal, if Khal was given the reigning clan of the Val'Sharen and Chel.

She was the closest to Mitya as her youngest, with barely had any responsibility.
Arte was raised in the Surface, and while Mitya raised her from a near start of birth till she was a young adult, Mitya had kept a small boundary to raise her as a Queen of the Surface.
Mitya raised Khal as motherly as she can while keeping a sisterly relationship to outside lookers, but she had mainly trained Khal in her knowledge and power, while with Arte, her ideals.
Slaean was the only child she could of really shown as hers, and spoiled the girl greatly; When the time of her death happened, Slaean was the most distraught.
