Her name and title seem to be directly opposed, but make sense when her story is revealed. She was hatched from a found water egg, but was not born with the coloration you see now. Her colors were a very troublesome combination and the clan struggled to decide what to do. They visited other clans with her in tow, hoping someone would love her as she was. One clan did want her, but complications almost immediately arose. Ennessar, still leader at the time, took matters into his own claws. He retrieved for her a blessing, a blessing that would give her another chance. Everyone waited with baited breath to see if it worked. They had all grown so fond of Serenia, despite her appearance. They prayed fervently, and were overjoyed when she was revealed in her new colors. It was then that she was given her name.

Serenia travels with Kaminari and is the clan emissary. She is quite familiar with the neighboring clans due to her travels as a hatchling. However, she doesn't reveal to any of them that she has visited them before.

"I can face all challenges with peace, because I know the tide will always turn. I simply have to keep my head above water until then."
