Biography
Midna
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Official Clan Trainer
Serious, sarcastic, stubborn and antisocial, Midna is the clan's trainer. With the highest level compared to all other clan members, Midna has no problem taking younger dragonets under her wing and into the Training Fields. While she isn't afraid of exposing her students to higher classed areas for teachings and demonstrations, Midna would never let anyone touch or harm them. Indifferent to most of the clan's celebrations, Midna prefers solitude as opposed to the more talkative dragonets of the clan, and spends the majority of her free time alone. However, when she isn't by herself or training hatchlings, Midna is capable of enjoying the presence of her closest friends: Slate and Core, both of whom she cares deeply for and find easy to converse with (though she would never admit to it)
Having hatched from an abandoned egg scavenged in Wind territory, alongside her Emerald Cave Jewel familiar, Plasma, Midna has never known her biological parents. She spent a portion of her hatching without anyone to take care of her, and was forced to adapt. She tried her best to find food for both her and the little creature that wouldn't leave her side. However, despite a sad (and hungry) beginning, Midna was cared for by the clan leader. Midna thinks very highly of Rosita and values her opinion greatly. Rosita has been her mother figure since the beginning of her discovery as a hatchling, and despite the care she received from the elderly Fae, Midna has never had the chance to experience love. She's had two mates in her lifetime, both of whom were politely turned away, but in the end, she gave up on finding her soulmate. Yet even she still has the occasional day dream of a loving mate and a nest of eggs that would stay with her and call her mother.
Despite her cold exterior and intense aura, Midna is excellent with newborn hatchlings. Perhaps because of her experience with familiars in her early years, or perhaps because of the childhood she dreamed of having when she was younger- with loving parents to watch out for you and teach you about the world. Though she hasn't taken up the job of Caregiver alongside Nephele, she's been encourage to think about it before. Midna often visits the hatchery to say hello to new born hatchlings, and though she believes that her attitude is awkward and forced around them, she is genuinely kind, but firm, when need be. Nephele insists her presence every now and again, when the hatchlings become mischievous and decide to play jokes, because no matter how hard she tries, it is very difficult to tame them. And yet, how Midna seems to have no trouble with it is beyond her.
