Rothiron

Captain of the Night Slayer, Rothiron sails the seas in and around Sornieth as he pleases, taking his small crew around to exotic islands and impressive landscapes.

An orphan youngling, Rothiron snuck away onto a pirate ship named Storm Chaser. He lived out of the hold for several weeks before he was discovered and brought deckside. The captain admired Rothiron's rugged tenacity and decided to keep him on. With an endless supply of fresh fish, open air and warm sun, Rothiron grew fast and large. He learned to fight from the captain himself.

During a raid by other pirates, the ship Rothiorn lived on was burned, and most of the crew was lost to the sea. Rothiron came to in the wreckage of the ship, tied to a set of planks. After freeing himself he searched the rubble and found three other survivors. There was Hakoda, the captain's first mate, Saya, a deckhand with an attitude, and Gargoyle, a frequent watcher of the crow's nest.

Rothiron took charge and instructed Hakoda to swim down and inspect the wreckage of the ship. Hakoda brought the news that it was a total loss, so to keep his friends alive Rothiron gathered them up and went in search of their attackers.

The attacking pirates, a ship full of mirrors, was easily located—Rothiron's ship put up a mighty fight before she sank, and she inflicted a large amount of damage upon the mirror ship. Rothiron and his small crew descended upon the mirror crew and managed to overpower them. Most the mirrors were drowned or killed, and once the ship was inspected Rothiron set sail with his crew of three. Being a mirror ship, it was smaller than Storm Chaser, which made it easier for Rothiron's small crew to sail. Now, Rothiron sails the Sea of a Thousand Currents, raiding other ships and helping those lost at sea continue their journey.
