Arturia Pendragon's sudden presence in Clan Lodzhal is a matter of great speculation. Part of the reason being is that she's the second dragon of royalty to become a member of the clan and like Acaelus, doesn't talk much about her background.

With the knowledge that she was of royalty, many expected her to be an almost childish, spoiled brat who wanted everyone to do things for her. Yet in actuality, she's the exact opposite. She's not what one would consider to be "feminine" either.

Upon unpacking her belongings, she donned her armor and headed straight into the training fields. Thinking it was some kind of joke, Acaelus joined her and was proven wrong. Turns out, Arturia is rather skilled in combat. Deciding to be a guard instead of a diplomat, there was a big question as to if she would try to take Acaelus's position seeing how she's just as qualified as he is with the exception that she doesn't know the territory as well as he does.

Due to the rocky start, Arturia and Acaelus didn't get along very well; both preferring to spend as little time in each other's company as possible. Yet due to their duties, running into each other is almost a guarantee. She made it clear that she didn't want to disrupt the smooth running structure of Clan Lodzhal's positions, so she was chosen by Lorian to be the second in command of the guards, thus pushing Glorfindel into third in command.

Tensions between Acaelus and Arturia grew so much that the rest of the clan was on edge, wondering which would snap first and how chaotic the clan might get. After all, if the protection of the clan was compromised, the clan itself would be open to attack. To deal with this, Lorian had to step in and have them act as temporary guards for her on an extended trip. This meant that Arturia and Acaelus were in constant company of each other as well as under the watchful eye of their leader. Lorian encouraged verbal debates between the two as well as sparring every evening. To make matters more interesting and in a rather risky stunt, Lorian led the two into the depths of the Hewn City that way the two would be forced to put their differences aside and work together. After all, both their lives and the life of their leader could be very well lost if they failed.

To the surprise of the rest of the clan, the trio returned from the month long trip mostly unscathed and in the best of moods. The two crystalline dragons were getting along as well as actively seeking each other's company.

In an odd twist of fate, the two became mates and can often be seen together training or basking in the sunlight. With a great reluctance and initial distrust from Glorfindel, especially considering the tensions between the two royal dragons in the beginning, Arturia and Glorfindel grew to be good friends. Arturia started teaching Glorfindel what she knew about politics because Lightweaver forbid Acaelus speak of such topics. Due to her relationship with Acaelus, Arturia eventually became the person Glorfindel would go to for questions or conversations a young drake would ask his mother about.
