One, two, counts the clock. Gravity bursts from an echo somewhere, out loud, the impending promise of unspoken spells, descending on shattered wings, the impurity of grace... He has no mortal face, no angel voice, a soul so bright as to banish all life with one breath. Drawn deeply, from smoke and mirrors, from the spectrums of color that no looking glass can see.

No single shadow he casts, no remorse in his dreams. Wingtips wound round and round the galaxies, round the fathoms of the mind, of the journeys made from heart-to-heart. It is the end of a world, the edge of oblivion. With perfect tunes he carves, he creates, the pathways into envisioned tomorrows. No night, no death--mere being, mere blindness. Lord over tricks of the light, where blood never slows, where the sun and moon never set.

And his crooked grin glitters, orbited on all sides by color, by malevolence, the wings that unfurl to the farthest of reaches, striking darkness where it starts, where it festers and spreads from below. How does a world turn? A galaxy grow? He seems to know. And with prominent perfection, he sweeps the sky clean. Chaotic. His display surrounds, overpowers, the beacon that beckons forth from ensembles, a shot in the dark. One chorus summons rings of unspeakable power... the demon laughs, he'll run the show.
