Biography
The raising tensions between beastclans and dragonkind should be met not with brute force nor with exclusion but with the open wings of diplomancy. A united front must be presented, so all clans of sornieth should vote forth a single representative to speak for their flight. Each of those eleven highly esteemed elemental ambassadors should bring with them a team of the wisest and sharpest to advise them, and the eleven should plan carefully before each meeting with beastclan representatives. No less than three elemental ambassadors should be present at any meeting, and the only magic allowed at such occasions should be protective spells. A rulebook for meetings should be provided to all participants in the language they best read.
Compromises must be made. Beastclan settlements of old should never be touched by dragonkind, but in return dragon nesting sites should be off limits to unwelcomed visitors. Trade routes should become a priority, as dragonmade materials may be as great an asset to the beastclans as their fabrics are to us. For now, the friendliest interactions that can be expected are high-tension trades in protected areas or through a third party, but this will improve as we get to know and trust each other.
The third and arguably most important founding step is neither politics nor economy; it is education. Knowledge may bridge the gaps between our species and breed understanding. We should send healers and craftsdragons into apprenticeship in sympathetic beastclan areas, and encourage them to do the same. Scribes of ours and of theirs should trade works and spread those. Knowledge is power, and we will use this power to bring our peoples together. We are, after all, brothers and sisters of Sornieth. We just need to realize that.
