Biography

As a hatchling, Blackwidow was red all over, from the tip of her wings to the point of her claws. As an adolescent she apprenticed to one of the clan's traders, who travel Sornieth selling metalwork and items found only in Ashfall Waste to clans in other regions. On their travels through the Scarred Wasteland she wandered off, enticed by a pretty field of flowers.

The resulting sickness almost killed Blackwidow, leeching almost all the colour from her fur before the healers could stabilise her and nurse her back to health. Eventually the red returned to her body as bright as it ever was, but only a fraction of her belly's shading returned, and her wings stubbornly refused to regrow so much as a single red feather.
