She grew up with one purpose in mind. To be the strongest, the fastest, and the deadliest. She got her wish. A few years later, after careful mentoring by her mother, she became the greatest warrior in their clan. After a while, it was decided that she should go and help other clans, and thus she has settled in at Clan Atirifámi. Her current packmates are Melvara and Emiya, and they hunt and kill for the clan.

A killer, a soldier, one who only knows how to kill. Lazuli and Melvara have entirely different ideals and never quite see eye to eye, yet Lazuli has managed to claw her way to the position of second-in-command among the hunters, under Emiya's leadership and Melvara's final say. While all Lazuli wants to do is rip her enemies to shreds, Melvara has a more disciplined outlook on combat- and this causes the two to be at odds every time they enter battle together.

Among Melvara's enemies, though, few are more threatening than Lazuli. While a certain Pearlcatcher shaman named Galactica may be the mastermind behind it, the small-but-growing sect of Shadetouched dragons is largely harmless compared to this beautifully dangerous Wildclaw. All she knows is fighting, killing, in the name of her dark god. Though she herself bears no particular ill will towards Alethios, Galactica does, and uses Lazuli as a constant looming threat to the status quo. Of all the dragons in the Shade-worshipping sect, Lazuli is the only one who could take out Melvara in direct combat.

Lazuli has occasionally been referred to as "a walking tube of glitter glue" due to the tendency of both her scales and outfit to shine or sparkle. Shortly after, she can often be seen cleaning blood from her teeth and claws.

"You are Shade-Touched, Lazuli. No, do not look at me like that. It is not necessarily a bad thing. Your soul's color is drowned out by the inky blackness of the Shade, freeing you from the claws of our so-called gods. You are fierce, a killer, a saint to the entity that other dragons would call you damned for associating with. You are brave, without your soul telling you that you are. You are cunning, without the expectation of being so. You are yourself."

"Your elemental alignment is weak and Wind-Shifted, but drowned out by the Shade. Were you to use magic, oh the destruction you would bring. But no, you clearly prefer the taste of your enemies' blood as you rend them with claw and fang."

"Tell no one what you are. I will come to collect you and the other Shade-Touched shortly."
