Spessartine

The adopted child of Raspite and Aragonite, Spessartine was stolen as a hatchling from his large birthclan among the steppes as a gift from Raspite to Aragonite. Never knowing his true birthparents, he became quickly attached to his parents, and they to him. Despite both of his parents being fairly level-headed and mellow, Spessartine showed signs of his bubbly, curious personality before he could even speak. While this did not worry anyone in the clan, Attis was particularly bothered by it (and still is).

As he grew up, Spessartine took more and more interest in exploring outside the clan, evidence of his Wind blood. Often fiddling with creatures and objects that certainly didn’t need to be fiddled with, he loved tempting fate and has a few minor scars and to show for it. While out exploring, he stumbled upon a Brilliant Psywurm who became quite attached to him. Through the familiar and some help from local mages, Spessartine learned bits of Light magic and manipulation. While not talented, he enjoys making light patterns and little creatures to entertain the clan, a trait from Aragonite.

Spessartine still very much enjoys nosing his way into things and exploring, but has become more relaxed as he ages, a bit like Raspite. Zoned out, it can be hard to get his attention, but he does care deeply about his clan and clanmates despite being born elsewhere. While he has considered returning home, Spessartine prefers the love and safety he has in Hera’s clan. When he’s not being overly curious or spacing out, Spessartine enjoys playing with his Psywurm and some of the younger hatchlings.
